Qué cambió en esta versión
Versión 1.9.7
- Release Date - 22 September 2026
- Security - A security fix related to the Elementor Pro «Load More» / infinite scroll pagination on filtered pages
- Dev - NEW: optional «Plugin notifications» (off unless you allow them) — see «External services» for details
- Dev - NEW: The «Block filter URLs in robots.txt» option now also works on sites with a physical robots.txt file — the plugin keeps its rules in a marked block inside that file and updates it automatically; nothing else in the file is touched
- Fix - Fixed the Apply button building a broken GET link (e.g. ?yes=on) instead of the pretty filter URL when two filters share the same custom field with different filter types — such as a numeric «Sale Price» filter and an «On Sale» checkbox both based on _sale_price
- Fix - Fixed a fatal error «Call to undefined function is_plugin_active» when the plugin was loaded outside wp-admin (WP-CLI, cron) — the Breakdance compatibility check now falls back to the active-plugins option
- Fix - Fixed a PHP warning «Undefined array key "post_type"» shown to administrators when a Filters widget or block with no Filter Set selected was displayed on a page that has no relevant Filter Set
- Fix - Fixed a label or swatch term in Apply-button mode with instant counts getting unselected again right after the click when the instant recount of a large Filter Set took longer than half a second (many terms, slower phones) — the click was processed twice
- Fix - Fixed the rating stars filter keeping the count of a rating next to the stars after that rating was clicked again to deselect it, when «Disable filter links for crawlers» is on
- Fix - Fixed SEO Rules with a specific category (e.g. «Women's Perfumes + Hugo Boss») generating no URLs for the XML sitemap — only «Any»-category rules made it into the sitemap, although the specific pages were correctly indexable on the frontend
- Fix - Fixed the XML sitemap including filtered URLs whose pages are empty and noindex on the frontend: products hidden from the catalog (out of stock with «Hide out of stock items from the catalog» enabled, or excluded from the catalog) no longer count when the sitemap decides whether a filtered page has products
- Fix - Fixed the XML sitemap listing filtered URLs without the trailing slash on sites whose permalink structure ends with one, so every entry went through a 301 redirect before reaching the canonical page; the sitemap now follows the site's permalink settings exactly
- Fix - Fixed filtering doing nothing on sites with the WP User Manager plugin (and other plugins built on the Brain Cortex router): the router re-ran the main query after Filter Everything had filtered it, so shop and category pages always showed all products
- Fix - Fixed the Filters and Chips blocks showing «This content is available to members only» instead of the filters when WP User Manager is active — the blocks passed its content-restriction attributes on to the widget as if they were widget settings
Versión 1.9.6
- Release Date - 24 August 2026
- Dev - NEW: The «Disable filter links for crawlers» option is now available in the free version too: filter links are rendered as ` ` instead of ` `, so search engine bots and AI crawlers no longer discover and hammer endless filter combinations. It is enabled by default on new installations; existing sites can switch it on in Settings → General → Crawlers and bots
- Dev - NEW: Added the «Block filter URLs in robots.txt» option: the plugin generates Disallow rules for its filter URLs and adds them to the site's robots.txt automatically, so well-behaved crawlers stop requesting filtering result pages they already know. In the free version the rules cover every filter parameter; in the PRO version with pretty permalinks they name only the URLs that are never indexable — several values of one filter, more filters than the Indexing Depth allows, numeric and date ranges — so the pages your SEO Rules index stay crawlable. The generated rules are also shown on the settings page for sites with a physical robots.txt file
- Tweak - Added the «Crawlers and bots» section to Settings → General and a one-time admin notice after the update pointing to the new protections
- Tweak - Added the «What's new» page under the Filters menu: release notes of the installed version with a badge on the menu item after an update, so you can see what changed whenever it suits you
- Tweak - The Import/Export link was removed from the Filters menu and the top toolbar to keep them short; the Import/Export tab in Settings stays where it was
- Fix - Fixed filter counters on shops that list product variations as separate catalog items next to their still-visible parent products (e.g. YITH Color Label Variations with parents not hidden): the counters could be lower than the number of products actually shown on the filtered page
- Fix - Fixed filters not working for logged-out visitors on shops that use WooCommerce B2B (the plugin hides restricted products from guests and changed the identity of the page query the Filter Set was saved with)
- Fix - Fixed the PHP 8.2 «Creation of dynamic property» deprecation notice triggered by the Filters, Chips and Sorting modules for Divi
- Fix - Fixed «Create Filters Automatically» writing a broken entry into the list of global URL prefixes and overwriting the prefixes that had just been registered for the new filters
- Fix - Fixed the error log filling up with PHP warnings «strpos: Empty needle» from the page-builder detector on PHP 7 sites (reported after the WordPress 7.1 update); markup-based builder detection now also reports the builder name correctly
Versión 1.9.5
- Release Date - 5 August 2026
- Fix - Fixed the search box inside a filter returning no results when the filter's terms are shown as color swatches or when filter links are hidden from search engine crawlers
- Fix - Fixed numeric range filters (e.g. price) keeping outdated minimum and maximum values for several hours after a product was edited: the cached filter data is now reset correctly on every product save
- Fix - Fixed the range slider and its number inputs not appearing in the «Apply button» mode with instant recount when the Filter Set contains only one filter (on PHP 8 such a filter could be mistakenly treated as waiting for a parent filter selection and stayed hidden)
- Fix - Fixed filter terms requiring a double tap in Safari on iPhone when filter links are hidden from search engine crawlers or shown as color swatches and brand logos: a single tap now both selects the term and instantly recalculates the counters
- Fix - Fixed the mobile «Show» button occasionally displaying the found posts number with doubled parentheses, like ((60))
- Fix - Fixed the «Apply button» with a redirect to another page repeating the already applied URL segments when the button was pressed again on a filtered page: the new address is now always built from the clean location URL
- Tweak - Child filters are now reset when their parent filter selection changes in the «Apply button» mode with instant recount: switching the Brand no longer keeps a Model that belongs to the previous Brand selected
- Fix - Fixed filters with the «See more» option hiding all of their terms after a selection in another filter in the «Apply button» mode with instant recount, when another Filter Set on the same page configures the same attribute without «See more» (e.g. a dropdown in a search form and a checkbox list in the sidebar): the «See more» state is now read from the rendered filter itself, and the static filter-data file name now includes a fingerprint of the filter configuration so configuration changes always refresh it
- Fix - Fixed hierarchical filters with the «See more» option rendering with all terms hidden until the plugin's JavaScript runs: on sites where scripts are delayed or minified by page-speed plugins (e.g. WP Rocket) such filters could stay empty for logged-out visitors, while logged-in users saw them correctly
- Fix - Fixed the «Load More» button of the Elementor Loop Grid widget appending unfiltered products on a filtered page: the widget's next-page address (?e-page-…) now keeps the applied filters, and the second and further pages no longer get a malformed address with two «?» characters
- Fix - Fixed the «Empty terms → Always hide» option not being applied to filters displayed as color swatches or brand logos when the page loads in the «Apply button» mode with instant recount: empty terms were visible until the first click on any filter and only then disappeared
- Fix - Fixed all filters disappearing from the Shop page and other product archive pages after updating to WooCommerce 11.0: WooCommerce now reports the shop page itself instead of the products archive there, and the plugin no longer recognized the page as a filterable products list
Versión 1.9.4
- Release Date - 20 July 2026
Versión 1.9.3.1
- Release Date - 14 July 2026
- Fix - Fixed the fatal error "Call to a member function setExcludedTerms on false" that could break pages with filters after the 1.9.3 update, when a filter referenced a parent filter that no longer exists in the Filter Set or does not apply to its post type
