Description
The Toolset Types add-on adds full support for custom fields from the Toolset Types plugin as columns in the WordPress dashboard, displaying each Types Field created (posts, terms, users, and repeating fields) directly in the Admin Columns Pro administrative listings. With this integration, anyone working with custom content types can sort, filter, and inline edit any Toolset field without opening each item individually. The add-on automatically appears in the field type dropdown of the column configuration, making each Types Field selectable as a native column. For sites with extensive custom structures, it’s the missing link between the field builder and bulk editing.
Key Features
- Columns from Types Fields: each field created in Toolset Types becomes available in the Admin Columns Pro column selector and can be displayed in listings.
- Support for posts, terms, and users: Toolset fields work as a column in any post type, taxonomy, and on the users screen.
- Repeating fields: recognizes and displays repeating fields from Toolset Types in the admin columns.
- Inline editing: the Inline Edit button lets you change the value of a Types Field directly in the listing row, without entering the editor.
- Sorting and filtering: enables Smart Filtering and sorting by any Types Field displayed as a column.
Benefits of the Toolset Types add-on
- Consolidated view of custom fields: Toolset structured data is no longer hidden in the editing screens and becomes visible in the listing.
- Bulk editing of custom fields: with Admin Columns Pro Bulk Editing, dozens or thousands of Types Fields can be updated all at once.
- Fewer clicks in the editorial workflow: inline editing removes repetitive navigation between the listing and the editor for quick adjustments.
- Listings organized by your own criteria: sort and filter by the Toolset Types fields that truly matter to the site’s workflow.
Who Is It For?
- Developers and agencies that build WordPress sites with custom content types via Toolset Types.
- Editors and content managers who need to review and update large volumes of Types Fields in the admin.
- Complex sites with directories, catalogs, portfolios, or structured databases in custom post types and taxonomies.
Designed for teams that already use Toolset Types as the foundation of their content architecture and want to get the most out of WordPress listing screens, this add-on connects two plugins that often live side by side in projects with strong data modeling. It’s the natural choice for anyone combining Admin Columns Pro with Toolset day to day and looking for productivity when editing custom fields at scale.
