Description
The Amelia addon connects Amelia plugin appointments to AutomatorWP, triggering automations whenever a user or visitor books or cancels a time slot, service, or event from your calendar. With triggers for bookings and cancellations made by both logged-in users and anonymous visitors, each interaction in the calendar starts automatic workflows like adding an association in MemberPress, registering a referral in SliceWP, or sending a row to a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
Key Features
- Booking trigger by user: triggers a workflow when a logged-in user schedules an appointment in Amelia.
- Booking trigger by visitor: launches automations when an anonymous visitor schedules a session, even without an account on the site.
- Triggers by service and by event (Pro): lets you filter the automation to a specific service or event in your calendar, instead of any booking.
- Cancellation triggers (Pro): responds to cancellations of appointments, services, and events made by users or visitors, ideal for retention and refund workflows.
- Trigger-focused component: the addon exposes Amelia events as the starting point for automations, leaving the actions to other AutomatorWP addons — such as those for MemberPress, SliceWP, or Google Sheets.
Benefits of Amelia
- Automatic post-booking: sends emails, assigns access, or registers the customer in lists instantly when they confirm an appointment.
- Connection with other plugins: links the Amelia calendar to MemberPress to enable associations, to SliceWP to credit affiliates, or to Google Sheets to record each appointment.
- Less manual work: eliminates exports and repetitive registrations for every new booking or cancellation.
- Centralized rules: concentrates the business logic of appointments in AutomatorWP, without needing to open Amelia settings for each new routine.
Who Is It For?
- Clinics, salons, studios, and consultancies that receive clients through Amelia and want to automate the post-scheduling follow-up.
- Organizers of paid events who need to trigger associations, certificates, or referrals when an attendee confirms registration.
- Agencies and professionals who already use AutomatorWP and want to include Amelia bookings and cancellations in their workflows.
Recommended for anyone who manages appointments with Amelia and wants to connect every booking and cancellation to the other systems on the site without writing code.
