Description
The HubSpot add-on connects AutomatorWP to the HubSpot CRM, allowing you to create and update contacts automatically, and add or remove users from targeted lists based on any event registered in WordPress. With this integration, you trigger sending leads to HubSpot when someone completes a course in LifterLMS, unlocks an achievement in GamiPress, or cancels a subscription in Paid Memberships Pro.
Key Features
- Create contact (Pro): sends a new contact to HubSpot with data captured during automation in WordPress.
- Update contact (Pro): overwrites fields of an existing contact in the CRM as the user progresses through courses, purchases or interactions.
- Add contact to list (Pro): adds the contact to a specific HubSpot list to feed campaigns and nurturing flows.
- Remove contact from list (Pro): removes the contact from a list when they cancel a subscription, leave a group or change stage.
- Chaining with AutomatorWP triggers: reuses native triggers from other add-ons (LifterLMS, GamiPress, Paid Memberships Pro, WooCommerce and dozens of others) to activate actions in HubSpot.
HubSpot Benefits
- Real-time pipeline feeding: every signup, purchase or course completion becomes a contact or movement within the CRM without manual entry.
- Behavior-based segmentation: students, subscribers and customers are distributed into lists based on the actions they perform on the site.
- Marketing journeys based on WP events: once a contact joins a list, HubSpot email flows take over communication.
- Automated database hygiene: cancellations, expirations and plan changes are reflected in the CRM, preventing orphan contacts on wrong lists.
Target Audience
- Businesses that use HubSpot CRM as a central lead hub and need to capture activity from WordPress.
- Online course platforms, communities and subscription clubs that want to segment users by stage.
- Marketing and sales teams that manage campaigns and pipelines in HubSpot and rely on WordPress as an entry point.
Recommended for those already operating HubSpot CRM and wanting to close the loop between WordPress and the commercial contact base without maintaining custom integrations.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the AutomatorWP plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the AutomatorWP plugin before this one.
- Download the file
automatorwp-hubspot.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
automatorwp-hubspot.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the AutomatorWP plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
