Description
The Link addon adds a trigger to AutomatorWP workflows that fires on link clicks, allowing every URL on your page to work as a starting point for automations. It’s built for anyone who distributes content through links (lessons, materials, exclusive resources) and needs to track that interaction to unlock access, award points to the user, or automatically fire the other steps configured in the workflow, without relying on forms or dedicated buttons.
Key Features of Link
- Link click trigger
Starts the automation as soon as the user clicks the monitored link. - Exclusive focus on triggers
This addon adds triggers to AutomatorWP, without including any actions of its own. - Separate scope from buttons
Button clicks are handled by another component in the same family. - Chaining with existing actions
The click fires any action already available in your AutomatorWP installation. - Configuration inside the panel
The trigger appears on the automation-building screen, alongside the other triggers.
Benefits of Link
- Tracking real interest
You identify who actually accessed each piece of material distributed through a link. - Less manual work
Unlocks and records happen without individually checking each user. - More granular automations
Each URL becomes a distinct event within your workflows. - Making the most of your current setup
Your already-configured actions gain a new trigger source.
Who Is Link For?
- Anyone who publishes online courses and wants to mark progress when a student accesses material.
- You, if you work with a membership area and need to react to access to exclusive content.
- Anyone who already uses AutomatorWP and wants to turn link clicks into workflow steps.
How to Download Link
Link is available for download here on Ultrapack. The step-by-step for installing this file is on the How to install tab, next to the description. Once activated, the new trigger starts appearing in the trigger list when building an automation in the panel.
By turning an ordinary click into a trackable event, this extension covers a common gap in content strategies: knowing what was actually accessed. For anyone building learning journeys, marketing campaigns, or link-based deliveries, the component connects that interaction to the rest of the automation without requiring code or intermediate redirect pages.
