Description
The Paid Memberships Pro add-on connects the Paid Memberships Pro plugin to the AutomatorWP automation engine, exposing membership events as triggers and adding actions that automatically assign, remove, or change users’ membership levels. Ideal for anyone running sites with restricted areas and paid clubs, it turns subscription changes, received payments, expirations, and cancellations into chained automatic workflows with other plugins, without writing a single line of code.
Key Features
- Membership triggers: PMPro events like level assignment, cancellation, expiration, and renewal start triggering revenue in AutomatorWP.
- Actions on levels: assigns, removes, or changes a user’s membership level as a step in a larger automation.
- Cross-plugin chaining: combines PMPro events with actions from other add-ons in the AutomatorWP ecosystem, linking membership to CRM, email, the store, and the members area.
- Tags and conditions: uses the builder’s dynamic tags to filter steps by current level, payment status, user data, or subscription metadata.
- Visual setup: builds each workflow inside the base plugin’s automation editor, without needing to touch hooks, snippets, or custom code.
Benefits of Paid Memberships Pro
- Less manual work: eliminates admin intervention in repetitive routines like access assignment, blocks, and welcome messages.
- Connected areas: makes the subscriber base talk to courses, forums, the store, and external lists without custom development.
- Consistent onboarding: ensures every new member receives the same set of actions when joining a paid level.
- Active retention: responds to expirations and cancellations with alerts, reactivation offers, or permission adjustments in seconds.
