Description
The WPLMS addon connects the WPLMS course platform to AutomatorWP, adding triggers and actions related to course enrollment, lesson completion, quiz approval, and certificate issuance within your automated flows. With this component installed, online schools and educational content creators automate the student journey by connecting the LMS to email tools, CRMs, communities, and gamification without writing code.
Key Features
- Course Triggers: fire automations when a student enrolls, starts, or completes a WPLMS course.
- Lesson & Quiz Triggers: activate recipes based on unit completion, passing or failing assessments.
- Enrollment Actions: enroll or remove students from WPLMS courses as a step in any AutomatorWP flow.
- Progress Actions: mark lessons and quizzes as completed for the user directly from an automation.
- Visual Build in AutomatorWP: assembles recipes by combining WPLMS with other addons in the same interface, without code.
Benefits of WPLMS
- Automatic Student Onboarding: as soon as the student enrolls, triggers welcome messages, grants access, and updates external lists.
- Stage-Based Contextual Communication: sends different messages based on progress, avoiding generic emails to the entire base.
- Less Manual Dashboard Work: eliminates manual enrollment, un-enrollment, and status updates performed by the administrator.
- Connection to the AutomatorWP ecosystem: combines WPLMS with email marketing, CRM, community, and gamification integrations supported by the platform.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the AutomatorWP plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the AutomatorWP plugin before this one.
- Download the file
automatorwp-wplms.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
automatorwp-wplms.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the AutomatorWP plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
