Description

The Background Sliders – Visual Composer adds to WPBakery builder a new element that turns the background of any line or section into an image slideshow with automatic transitions, duration controls, fade effects and parallax support. Intended for those building pages with Visual Composer and looking to go beyond static background, the plugin delivers a configurable background slider directly in visual editor, without requiring extra CSS or custom code.

Main Features

  • Native element in Visual Composer: registers a new module within WPBakery builder, accessible from the line element panel.
  • Slideshow as section background: applies multiple images as animated background to any row, keeping page content on top.
  • Configurable transitions: allows adjusting display time of each slide, switch speed and transition effect between images.
  • Parallax compatible: combines parallax scroll effect with background image sequence, maintaining motion during scrolling.
  • Visual setup: upload and ordering of images are performed directly through Visual Composer interface, no code changes.

Benefits of Background Sliders – Visual Composer

  • More visually impactful pages: replaces static backgrounds with animated sequences that capture attention right from hero section.
  • Familiar editing flow: keeps all work within WPBakery, no need to learn new tools or switch between plugins.
  • Leverage existing assets: reuses images from WordPress media library, no dependence on external services.
  • Flexible composition per section: enables defining different behaviors for each page line, adapting slider to content context.

Who is it for?

  • Designers and developers building pages in WPBakery who want animated backgrounds without extra coding.
  • Agencies delivering landing pages and institutional sites with high visual appeal hero sections.
  • Content creators and photographic portfolios needing to showcase multiple images prominently without occupying content area.

Those already using WPBakery as primary builder gain a visual feature that usually requires manual customization or extra slider plugins. By treating slideshow as property of section rather than separate content block, Background Sliders – Visual Composer frees useful page space for texts, forms and CTAs while keeping background images moving.
