Famous – Responsive Image & Video Grid Gallery for WPBakery Page Builder (Visual Composer)

Description

Famous transforms WPBakery Page Builder into a tool for creating responsive grid galleries, allowing images and videos to be combined in the same layout through draggable elements within the visual editor. Configuration happens directly in the builder shortcodes, with control over columns, spacing, hover effects, and an integrated lightbox to display media fullscreen when clicked by the visitor.

Main Features

• Responsive media grid: arranges images and videos in multi-column layouts that adapt to desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Embedded video support: incorporates local or externally hosted video files directly into gallery cells.
• Integrated lightbox: opens images and videos in an enlarged overlay when the visitor clicks on a grid item.
• Customizable hover effects: applies transition animations, color overlay, and caption display on mouseover.
• Control of spacing and columns: adjusts gutters, number of columns per breakpoint, and item ratio via editor fields.

Benefits of Famous

• Mixed media in the same block: combines photos and videos in a single gallery without needing to switch between different elements.
• Visual editing with no code: everything is built through the WPBakery panel, eliminating the need for CSS or manual shortcodes.
• Consistent presentation on any screen: the grid automatically reorganizes columns based on the visitor’s device.
• Greater visual engagement: hover effects and lightbox capture attention and encourage content exploration.

Who Is It For?

• Photographers and videomakers who need to showcase mixed portfolios with images and videos on their website.
• Creative agencies and studios that build visual case pages using WPBakery Page Builder.
• Content creators and professionals selling visual products who want responsive grids without editing code.

By concentrating static images and video clips in a single WPBakery component, Famous reduces the friction of building media-rich pages and keeps the presentation aligned on any device. It is a practical choice for those already working with the builder and needing a gallery layer more flexible than what native blocks offer, with lightbox and hover ready to highlight visual work.
