Description

The MemberPlayer HTML5 Video – Visual Composer Addon adds an HTML5 video player element to the WPBakery visual editor, allowing you to insert self-hosted videos into any row or column by dragging and dropping. Each block accepts MP4 files, customizable controls, a cover poster, and autoplay, loop, and mute settings, without relying on external platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo to serve the content.

Key Features

  • Native element in WPBakery: new HTML5 player block available in the visual row and column editor.
  • Self-hosted video: plays MP4 files uploaded to the WordPress media library, without external embedding.
  • Configurable controls: options for autoplay, loop, initial mute, control bar visibility, and poster image.
  • Responsive layout: fluid adjustment of the player to the row container on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Visual configuration: video parameters set via the WPBakery shortcode panel, without manual code editing.

Benefits of MemberPlayer HTML5 Video – Visual Composer Addon

  • Full hosting control: keeps the video on your own server, avoiding third-party platform branding and ads.
  • Fast editing flow: inserts and adjusts the player directly on the WPBakery canvas, without switching between screens.
  • Visual consistency: standardized playback across all pages built with the constructor.
  • Lower external dependency: reduces failure points tied to APIs and streaming service quotas.

Who is this for?

  • Content creators and membership areas that distribute exclusive courses and videos from their own domain.
  • Agencies and developers who build pages in WPBakery and need a native video block in the editor.
  • Institutional sites and landing pages that display presentation material without resorting to YouTube or Vimeo.

Designed for those who already work with WPBakery and need to display their own videos without external embeds, the add-on delivers an HTML5 player integrated into the visual flow of the builder. The practical benefit shows up in member areas, courses, and sales pages, where control over the file, thumbnail, and playback behavior is part of the experience delivered to the visitor.
