Download Manager WordPress Pro Membership

Description

The WordPress Pro Membership add-on turns the Download Manager into a paid subscription platform, creating association packages with defined durations that restrict file access according to the plan purchased by the user. Digital stores, course sites and subscription communities use this extension to unlock entire download libraries only to active members, with renewal managed by the base plugin’s admin panel.

Key Features

• Association packages: create plans with price, duration, and their own rules directly in the Download Manager admin.
• Level-based restriction: links each download file or category to a specific package, blocking access for those not on the plan.
• Subscription renewal: manages validity cycles, expiration dates, and member reactivation all in one place.
• Member history: records purchases, current status, and each user’s renewal in a dedicated panel listing.
• Integrated checkout flow: connects package sales pages to the Download Manager cart, reusing already configured gateways.

Benefits of WordPress Pro Membership

• Recurring revenue: opens a continuous monetization model for file collections that were previously sold individually.
• Granular access control: separates what is public, what is free, and what stays locked by plan without manual coding.
• Centralized operation: keeps registrations, sales, and deliveries within the same plugin, without relying on a separate membership system.
• Library scalability: supports growth of the download collection without needing to redo permissions for every new file added.

Who is it for?

• Digital stores selling template packs, e-books, proprietary plugins, audio files, or graphic bundles by subscription.
• Creators and educators who distribute technical materials, study guides, and class files to paying students.
• Communities, associations, and corporate websites that release internal documents exclusively to authorized members.

Teams that sell digital file collections find in this extension a direct way to lock content by member level without relying on external membership solutions. The operation takes place within the same Download Manager dashboard, with reports of active, expired, and renewed members, keeping the entire cycle of sales, billing, and delivery in one plugin.
