Easy Digital Downloads Bookings

Description

Easy Digital Downloads Bookings turns Easy Digital Downloads into a booking platform, converting each download into a schedulable item with an availability calendar, time slot control, and automatic blocking of dates already occupied. The plugin adds date and time fields to the EDD checkout, records each reservation as an order linked to the customer, and lets you manage the schedule directly in the WordPress admin panel.

Main Features

• Availability Calendar
Displays a date selector on the digital product page with open and blocked times in real time.
• Time Slot Capacity Control
Sets how many simultaneous reservations each time slot accepts before becoming unavailable to new clients.
• Reservation fields at checkout
Attaches the date, time, and chosen duration from the customer to the standard EDD purchase process.
• Administrative schedule management
Centralizes in the WordPress dashboard the view, editing, and cancellation of reservations recorded in the system.
• Compatibility with the EDD ecosystem
Integrates with gateways, coupons, and reports already configured in Easy Digital Downloads without requiring adjustments.

• Schedule conflict reduction
Automatically blocks times already filled, preventing duplicate bookings and manual rework.
• Single sales flow

• Centralized operation
Consolidates orders, payments, and appointments in the EDD dashboard, eliminating external calendar tools.

Who is it for?

Targeted at those who already run Easy Digital Downloads and need to include time-based services in the catalog, Bookings expands the store’s scope without fragmenting operations across multiple platforms. The combination of calendar, capacity control, and integrated checkout positions the component as a bridge between digital product sales and time-based business models.
