Description
The Image Licensing addon adds six variations of Creative Commons licenses to Envira Gallery (CC BY, CC BY-NC, CC BY-ND, CC BY-SA, and combinations with NonCommercial and ShareAlike), as well as an optional author name field configurable in the Image Licensing tab of the base plugin settings. The chosen terms automatically appear below each published gallery and album, and the component also includes SEO-optimized deeplinking for individual photos, recommended for photographers, illustrators, and visual content creators who release images under open licenses.

Individual photos gain structured metadata that assists with indexing and organic discovery. - Consistent set with other protections
Works alongside watermark, gallery password, and right-click blocking from the base plugin.
Who Is It For?
- Professional photographers maintaining online portfolios who need to communicate terms of use for each image.
- Image banks, visual libraries, and archives distributing photos under open Creative Commons licenses.
- Editorial sites, blogs, and content creators relying on transparency about copyright for published images.
Designed for those who need to document authorship and usage conditions without editing each image individually, the addon fits into the familiar Envira Gallery workflow and eliminates per-gallery configurations. Combined with watermark, password protection, and right-click blocking from the base plugin, it completes a consistent set of measures to distribute photos with clear rules.
