Description
The Event Photos add-on adds a dedicated image gallery to each EventON event, displaying photos directly in the expanded calendar card without requiring external shortcodes or additional gallery plugins. Built for organizers who document past editions or present visual previews of upcoming events, the component creates an upload field in the event editor and renders clickable thumbnails with a responsive lightbox in the public view.

Preserves the visual history of past events as social proof for new sign-ups. - Less reliance on external plugins
Eliminates the need to use third-party galleries or manual shortcodes inside the event content. - Unified workflow in the admin
Centralizes photo creation in the same editor where the event is set up, without screen switching.
Who Is It For?
- Organizers of recurring events who want to visually document each edition.
- Venues, cultural spaces, and production companies that use EventON as a public agenda.
- Schools, churches, and communities that need to display photographic records of previous meetups.
For sites that already use EventON as their main calendar, Event Photos fills the gap of having no native support for galleries per event, removing the need to embed media plugin shortcodes in the event content. The result is a more complete event page, with text, date, location, and visual documentation in a single cohesive block—useful both for promoting upcoming events and for preserving the archive of editions already held.
