Description

Export Import Courses transfers complete LearnPress courses between WordPress installations, exporting lessons, quizzes, questions, and curriculum structure into a single importable file. The extension preserves section hierarchy, associated media, and item settings during migration, serving online schools, instructors, and agencies who need to clone content between staging and production environments without manually redoing registration.

Main Features

  • Complete Course Export
Generates file with all structural data of the selected course in the panel.
  • Direct Import into LearnPress
Loads the exported package and recreates the course in the destination installation automatically.
  • Lesson and Quiz Transfer
Migrates learning units, questions, and answers linked to the original structure.
  • Curriculum Hierarchy Preservation
Keeps sections, item order, and internal metadata without manual reorganization.
  • LearnPress Ecosystem Compatibility
Operates on LMS native post types, integrating into the admin flow.

Export Import Courses Benefits

  • Agile Site Migration
Reduces hours of re-registration when moving staging platforms to production.
  • Point-in-Time Content Backup
Allows archiving course versions before major curriculum overhauls.
  • School Network Replication
Distributes the same teaching program to multiple WordPress installations of the institution.
  • Less Operational Rework
Frees the instructor to focus on content, not on rebuilding structure repeatedly.

Who is it For?

  • Online schools and open courses that maintain separate test and production environments.
  • Instructors who sell or license ready-made course packages to other platforms.
  • Agencies and developers who deliver configured LearnPress installations to end clients.

Aimed at those who operate LearnPress professionally, the module shortens the publishing cycle by treating the course as a portable package between installations. Practical gains appear when replicating content: what would require screen-by-screen rebuilding becomes a couple of clicks between export and import, with the pedagogical integrity of the material kept intact.
