Description
The Group Accounts add-on allows a single customer to purchase a Paid Memberships Pro membership and distribute access to multiple team members, generating invitation codes and a front-end group management dashboard. Businesses, schools, and associations use the feature to sell corporate plans, track how many seats have been used, and add or remove participants without creating individual orders.
Key Features
- Group membership levels
Configures which Paid Memberships Pro plans work as shared accounts with multiple seats. - Group invitation codes
Generates unique codes that each member uses at checkout to join the leader’s account. - Leader management dashboard
Adds a front-end page where the payer can view, invite, and remove linked members. - Configurable seat limit

Group Accounts Benefits
- Viable B2B sales
Opens the door to closing contracts with businesses and institutions that need to pay a single invoice. - Less administrative friction
Reduces support by delegating member onboarding and removal to the team manager. - Predictable revenue by seat
Makes it possible to scale the average order value by charging for the number of participants included in the plan. - Simplified onboarding
Speeds up the arrival of new members through a direct invitation-code flow.
Who Is It For?
- Online course platforms that sell corporate licenses to businesses and schools.
- Professional associations and clubs that offer family or team plans.
- B2B premium content sites that need to serve multiple employees per contract.
Designed for those operating recurring-revenue models with corporate clients, Group Accounts solves a classic Paid Memberships Pro bottleneck: bundled sales of multiple memberships. By centralizing payment and administration in the leader’s account and delegating only access to the other users, the component supports e-learning operations, paid communities, and industry portals that grow by acquiring entire accounts.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the Paid Memberships Pro plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the Paid Memberships Pro plugin before this one.
- Download the file
pmpro-group-accounts.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
pmpro-group-accounts.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the Paid Memberships Pro plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
