Description
The Member Badges addon assigns custom badge images to each membership level of Paid Memberships Pro, displaying them on the member profile, on the account screen, in the members directory, and in any post or page via the shortcode [pmpro_member_badges]. For those who run a subscription site with hierarchical plans (Silver, Gold, Bronze) and want to give visual recognition to each tier, the component already comes with royalty-free starter badges and accepts uploads in PNG, SVG, and JPG.
Key Features of Member Badges

Those who maintain multiple active plans display all badges simultaneously, valuing upgrades. - Social proof in the directory
The badge appears in the public directory, profiles, and posts, transforming the level into a visible signal for other visitors.
Who is Member Badges For?
- Those who run a membership site with multiple levels (Silver, Gold, Bronze) in Paid Memberships Pro.
- Paid communities that want to give visual recognition to older members or premium plan members.
- Those who maintain a public members directory and need to differentiate plans directly in the listing.
How to Download Member Badges
Member Badges is available for download here on Ultrapack. After downloading the .zip file, install in Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, select the file and activate. After activation, the option to attach a badge appears on the edit screen of each membership level in Paid Memberships Pro.
Designed for membership sites that adopt hierarchical plan structure, the component transforms subscription status into a visible badge, integrated with the profile, the directory, and the body of posts. SVG acceptance allows working with vector badges that scale without loss on any screen, while the filters pmpromb_non_member_badge and pmpromb_allowed_html open space for fine-tuning in behavior via child theme.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the Paid Memberships Pro plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the Paid Memberships Pro plugin before this one.
- Download the file
pmpro-member-badges.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
pmpro-member-badges.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the Paid Memberships Pro plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
