Description
The Multiple Memberships per User add-on removes the limit of one active subscription per account in Paid Memberships Pro, enabling each user to accumulate two or more membership levels simultaneously on the same profile. Designed for those who operate clubs, communities, or content areas with complementary offerings (monthly + annual course, basic + premium, member + extra benefits), the component adjusts checkout, the member dashboard, and content restriction logic to handle the coexistence of levels.
Key Features of Multiple Memberships per User
- Multiple level assignment
Enables simultaneous linking of two or more membership levels to the same user. - Checkout adapted for multiple levels
Adjusts the purchase flow to add a new level without canceling the previous one. - Combined content restriction
Grants access when any of the active levels meets the content rule. - Consolidated membership dashboard
Lists all active levels for the user in the Membership Account area and in admin. - Hooks and filters for developers
Exposes extension points to adjust eligibility rules and billing in PHP.
Benefits of Multiple Memberships per User
- Greater monetization flexibility
Enables selling bundles, upgrades, and add-ons without forcing a level change. - Higher retention
Members accumulate benefits instead of canceling to switch, reducing churn. - Parallel offerings on the same site
Enables distinct offerings (course, club, community) coexisting in a single account. - Direct implementation
Activates the feature on Paid Memberships Pro without rebuilding the existing level structure.
Who is Multiple Memberships per User for?
- Those who maintain a subscription club with complementary modules (course, VIP area, downloads) that members can purchase in parallel.
- Those who operate a community with primary membership and additional packages (mentoring, paid events, private groups).
- Those already using Paid Memberships Pro who hit the limitation of one active level per user.
How to Download Multiple Memberships per User
Multiple Memberships per User is available for download here on Ultrapack. After downloading the .zip file, go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, select the .zip, and activate. With Paid Memberships Pro previously installed, multiple level options appear in membership configuration screens and in each user’s profile.
For operations that grow in offerings, selling a new module without disrupting the current subscription is a turning point in recurring revenue. Multiple Memberships per User fills exactly this gap in Paid Memberships Pro, stacking levels instead of replacing them, maintaining clean billing history and consistent access rules across the entire membership area.
