What changed in this version
Version 5.10.0
- Creating a portal now opens a chooser. Start from scratch, use one of your own templates, or pick a ready-made portal from the Portal Gallery.
- You can favourite a template so it sorts first under My Templates.
- You can export a portal or template as JSON from the list screen, and import that file from the chooser. Content pages, synced patterns, navigation, and files come with the export.
- Files and Private Files can show clients a title instead of the uploaded filename. The title starts as the name in the Media Library, and you can change it on the module.
- Clients can now be emailed when you add files to a Files or Private Files module in their portal. The email waits a few minutes after you last save so you can add more files without extra messages. This is on by default. You can turn it off or change the wording in Notifications, the same way as the other emails.
- After you update a content page, you can email the clients who can see that page. Updating the page does not send the email. You choose who to notify from the confirmation that appears after you save. Turn this off in Notifications to hide the link.
- Each module can use its own icon. PNG, JPG, GIF, and WebP work by default. SVG is available when your site already allows SVG uploads.
- Portal text now follows your site language, including comments, module actions, and Client Uploads. Belgian Dutch is included.
- Improved
- Editing a template shows a notice that existing portals stay unchanged.
- Synced patterns in the editor link out to their documentation.
- The template gallery heading stays on screen while templates load.
- The Powered by link opens in a new tab.
- Text under an image slider in the popup no longer sits against the bottom edge.
- Client Uploads no longer show on public portals, and the editor warns you when one is set up there.
- Imported templates no longer arrive already favourited.
- Deleting a WordPress user removes that person from the portals they were assigned to.
- On sites with many content pages, the assigned page stays selected in the editor dropdown.
- The Register block lists portals and templates beyond the first 10.
- A content page no longer goes blank when an image slider is missing images.
- Importing a portal no longer stalls when images on the source site cannot be reached.
- Moving a portal to another site keeps links between its content pages, and links that pointed at the original site, working.
- Imported content keeps backslashes.
- Module icons display correctly when several appear on the same page.
- The Portals column on the Users screen loads faster on sites with many portals.

- Auto-created portal titles can now include the client's name or company. Add {first_name}, {last_name}, or {organization} to the New Portal Title field — in the registration block or your global settings — and each new portal is named automatically (for example, "{first_name}'s Portal" becomes "John's Portal"). Plain titles and existing portals are unchanged.

- Renamed several admin sidebar labels for clarity
- Editor scripts now refresh correctly after an update, so browsers no longer serve outdated editor code from cache
- Private file security updates

- Phase settings no longer fail to load when the number of parts is set to 0 or left empty
- Fixed an editor crash ("leco-cp-sidebar has encountered an error") when clicking "Edit original" on a synced pattern inside a portal or template
- Pattern editing inside portals now works correctly in WordPress 7.0
Version 5.8.1
- Auto-created portal titles can now include the client's name or company. Add {first_name}, {last_name}, or {organization} to the New Portal Title field — in the registration block or your global settings — and each new portal is named automatically (for example, "{first_name}'s Portal" becomes "John's Portal"). Plain titles and existing portals are unchanged.

Version 5.8.0
- Comment notifications: get notified when clients comment on content pages
- Per-portal notification settings: override your global notification setup on a portal-by-portal basis when you need different behaviour for different clients
- Custom admin recipient field: send admin notifications to additional email addresses, not just the site admin
- Improved
- Notification settings page redesigned for clarity, with pill-style sub-tabs, clearer copy throughout, and a refreshed layout
- Per-notification enable/disable toggles are easier to find and use
- "Email appearance" tab renamed to "Email settings" and rewritten to be more useful
- "Module available" renamed to "Module activated" for consistency
- Email subject lines and body content rewritten to be clearer and more professional
- Custom notification fields now pre-fill with your global defaults so you're not starting from scratch
- Image slider modal redesigned: full-width images, overlay navigation arrows, cleaner layout without grey background
- Image slider download dropdown now opens upward to avoid being clipped by the modal edge
- Resolved an issue where some portal notifications could be silently blocked even when settings showed them as enabled
- Digest emails now correctly respect per-portal notification settings
- Multi-recipient admin emails now correctly report delivery status (previously, partial delivery could be reported as a full failure, leading to duplicate sends)
- Hardened security for notification emails containing user-generated content
- Fixed a layout issue where pasting formatted content from other apps (like Google Docs or Word) into a module would break the list styling in the popup view
- Inactive modules no longer appear active in the content page sidebar — they're now properly greyed out and non-clickable, matching the behaviour elsewhere in the portal
