Description
The Conditional Content addon displays text blocks, banners, and specific promotions in WooCommerce according to conditional rules based on cart contents, user role, visited categories, dates, and location. Aimed at those who sell in distinct seasons or segment offers by visitor profile, the component personalizes product, category, and checkout pages without having to edit theme files or manually duplicate content in each scenario.
Main Features of Conditional Content
- Combinable conditional rules
Defines conditions by cart, user, category, date, and location in a single panel. - Flexible placement
Inserts blocks on product, category, cart, and checkout pages and in sidebar widgets. - Dynamic content by trigger
Swaps text, image, or an entire block when a configured condition is met in real time. - Segmented banners
Renders shipping, coupon, or promotion notices only for the target visitor profile. - Scheduling by date
Activates and deactivates blocks automatically in start and end windows defined in the admin.
Benefits of Conditional Content
- More relevant messages
Each visitor sees the notice or offer compatible with their browsing and purchase context. - Less page duplication
Avoids creating product variations just to change a callout or promotional banner. - Seasonal campaigns under control
Holiday promotions go live and offline without manual intervention in the panel. - Increased average order value
Conditional suggestions in the cart encourage upgrades and complementary products at the right time.
Who Is Conditional Content For?
- Those who sell seasonal products (holidays, summer and winter collections) and need to swap banners by time window.
- Aimed at those who segment offers by visitor profile (new customer, returning, wholesale) without keeping duplicated pages.
- Those who run free shipping, coupon, or giveaway promotions conditioned on cart value and categories in the purchase.
How to Download Conditional Content
The Conditional Content is available for download here at Ultrapack. After downloading the .zip file, install it under Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, select the file, and activate it. With WooCommerce active, the conditional rule options start appearing in the plugin’s settings menu for immediate editing.
For operations that rely on campaigns and segmentation, Conditional Content shortens the cycle between promotion idea and execution in the storefront, since swapping messages and banners no longer requires theme changes or creating parallel pages. The rules layer talks directly to the cart state and the logged-in user, ensuring consistency between what is promised on the homepage, in the category, and at the WooCommerce store checkout.

What changed in this version
Version 2.3.15 2026.09.21
- Fix: Rule group and rule keys are sanitised on save.
Version 2.3.14 2026.08.29
- Fix: Schedule rules now use your store's timezone instead of the server's. Please review any Date, Day or Time rule - on a store whose timezone differs from its server, scheduled content has been starting and ending on the wrong day, and day-of-week rules have been firing on the wrong day.
- Fix: The Cart Products rule's "contains less than" no longer matches when the cart holds exactly that quantity. "Contains less than 3" now means 0-2, which is how the Cart Categories rule has always behaved.
- Fix: The Order Count and Status rule counted every order in the store for logged-out visitors, so content aimed at returning customers was shown to everyone. Visitors who are not logged in now count as zero orders.
- Fix: The "is less or equal to" operator never matched anything. It now works in the Product Price, Product Custom Field, Cart Total Quantity, Cart Total Monetary Amount and Cart Line Item Quantity rules, so content behind those rules will begin displaying.
- Fix: The Sale Date rule never worked. "Sale Date starts" matched every product and "Sale Date ends" matched none.
- Fix: The Product Attributes rule only checked the first attribute selected. It now matches any of the selected attributes.
- Fix: A rule referencing a deleted product could produce an error page, both on the storefront and on the content block's own edit screen.
- Fix: The woocommerce_conditional_content template tag returns its content again when called with $echo set to false.
- Fix: A content block with no rules is now displayed by the template tag, matching how it already behaved when output through a hook.
- Fix: Rules no longer emit PHP warnings when a content block's stored settings are incomplete.
- Update: Admin styles and scripts are versioned against the plugin version again, so browser caches pick up changes.
- Dev: Added a PHPUnit test suite covering every rule type, and retired the unused grunt build in favour of the deployment tooling.
