Description
The Comment Search addon adds a search field to wpDiscuz within the comments area, allowing visitors to quickly locate specific excerpts, keywords or authors among discussions already published in the post. The search runs via AJAX and returns results in real time, without page reloads, which is especially useful in articles with high comment volume, news sites with active discussion and niche blogs with engaged communities.

How to Download Comment Search
Comment Search is available for download here on Ultrapack. After obtaining the .zip file, access the WordPress panel at Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, select the package and click to activate. With wpDiscuz already installed, the search field starts to appear in the comments area as soon as the addon is enabled.
For those who treat the comments section as a central part of the content, Comment Search transforms a normally difficult-to-navigate space into something searchable. The AJAX search returns results without interrupting reading, values the community history on wpDiscuz and gives the visitor autonomy to find exactly the contribution or author they seek in the midst of the discussions.

This item is an add-on for the wpDiscuz plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the wpDiscuz plugin before this one.
- Download the file
wpdiscuz-comment-search.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
wpdiscuz-comment-search.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the wpDiscuz plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
