Description
With the Starting Affiliate ID, you set the initial number for the IDs generated by AffiliateWP, causing each registered affiliate to receive a sequential numbering starting from a custom value instead of the default 1. The extension is useful for programs that want to convey maturity from launch, preventing the first registered affiliate from being bound to ID 1 and simulating a history of prior registrations in the count visible to the user.
Key Features
- Custom starting ID: defines the starting point for affiliate numbering in AffiliateWP.
- Sequential numbering: maintains the native incremental order from the value chosen by the administrator.
- Admin panel configuration: adjust the starting number directly in the AffiliateWP options, without editing code.
- Compatibility with native flow: works alongside the standard registration of the base plugin without changing approval or commission logic.
- Application to new registrations: affects the IDs of affiliates registered after the configuration change.
Benefits of Starting Affiliate ID
- Established program appearance: prevents the first affiliate from receiving ID 1, conveying a history of registrations.
- Internal standardization: allows aligning affiliate numbering with the format adopted by other company systems.
- Migration continuity: helps resume the count in projects that imported affiliates from other platforms.
- Quick configuration: one-time precise adjustment made in the AffiliateWP options.
Who is it for?

- Companies migrating affiliates from other tools that need to keep the previous ID sequence.
