Description
The ClickUp addon connects AutomatorWP to the ClickUp task manager, allowing you to create tasks, update statuses, and log comments automatically whenever a WordPress trigger occurs. The addon is aimed at teams that already run projects in ClickUp and want to trigger actions on the platform from site events such as WooCommerce purchases, new registrations, or course completions in LMS, without relying on Zapier or paid external integrations.
Main Features
- Task creation actions: sends new tasks to specific ClickUp lists directly from AutomatorWP automations.
- Updating existing tasks: allows changing fields, status, or priorities of a task already registered in your ClickUp account.
- Comment logging: adds comments to tasks to inform progress, observations, or notifications coming from the WordPress site.
- Connection via official API: authenticates the site to the ClickUp account via token, keeping secure synchronization between the two platforms.
- Chaining with other add-ons: combines ClickUp with other AutomatorWP components, such as WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, LearnDash, and BuddyBoss, within the same flow.
Benefits of ClickUp
- Task centralization: records site requests directly in ClickUp, eliminating parallel spreadsheets and manual handoffs.
- Automatic event response: turns purchases, submitted forms, and new users into tasks assigned to the correct team.
- Cost reduction with external automation: eliminates intermediary integration services, keeping the workflow within WordPress.
- Process standardization: ensures every relevant site interaction generates the same type of task, with identical fields and owners.
Who is it for?
- Agencies and project teams that use ClickUp as their primary management tool.
- WooCommerce stores that need to open internal tasks for each order, return, or customer request.
- Support, content, and marketing operations that want to record demands generated by site forms and registrations.
Recommended for teams that have already adopted ClickUp as a productivity hub and want WordPress to feed that workflow automatically, without code and without intermediate tools.
