Description
The MailerLite addon connects AutomatorWP to your MailerLite account, adding automation actions that register contacts in groups, update custom fields, and trigger email sequences from events triggered in WordPress. This bridge turns user behaviors on the site — such as completing courses, earning points, or purchasing products — into automatic movements within your email marketing list.
Main Features
- API key connection: direct authentication with the MailerLite account from AutomatorWP settings, no coding required.
- Contact registration actions: adds or updates subscribers in specific groups when the automation trigger is fired.
- Custom field updates: sends WordPress user data to the contact’s custom fields in MailerLite.
- Removal and movement of contacts: removes subscribers from groups or moves them between lists according to automation conditions.
- Compatibility with AutomatorWP ecosystem triggers: works with triggers from other integrations of the base plugin, such as WooCommerce, LearnDash, and popular forms.
Benefits of MailerLite
- Automatic lead synchronization: eliminates manual spreadsheet imports between the site and the email platform.
- Behavior-based segmentation: groups contacts by what each user did on WordPress, not just by the signup form.
- More relevant campaigns: sends content aligned with the subscriber’s actual journey within the site.
- Centralized operation: keeps email marketing rules within the same dashboard where you configure the rest of the automations.
Who Is It For?
- Content creators and infoproduct producers who use MailerLite as their main email platform.
- WooCommerce stores and membership sites wanting to segment customers by purchases, completed courses, or engagement level.
- Agencies and marketing professionals who build automated nurturing flows from WordPress events.
Recommended for those already working with AutomatorWP and needing to turn user actions on the site into automatic contact movements within MailerLite.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the AutomatorWP plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the AutomatorWP plugin before this one.
- Download the file
automatorwp-mailerlite.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
automatorwp-mailerlite.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the AutomatorWP plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
