Description
The Presto Player addon connects the Presto Player video player to AutomatorWP, triggering automations at the exact moment the visitor watches the content. With triggers based on full completion or percentage watched, you can mark lessons as completed, add contacts to external tools, or move students between groups without manual clicks or confirmation buttons.
Main Features
- Full video watched trigger: triggers automation when the logged-in user completes full playback of a Presto Player video.
- Percentage watched trigger (Pro): runs flows when the user passes, falls below, or reaches a specific percentage of the video.
- Triggers by source platform (Pro): separates automations depending on whether the video is hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, Bunny, or internal Presto Player media.
- Support for anonymous visitors (Pro): logs video consumption for non-logged-in visitors and triggers flows without requiring prior registration.
- Compatibility with the AutomatorWP ecosystem: combines video triggers with actions from other addons to send data to CRMs, LMSs, and membership platforms.
Benefits of Presto Player
- Automatic progress marking: completes lessons in LMSs like LifterLMS when the student reaches the defined percentage of the video.
- Qualified lead capture: sends the user to lists, tags, or contacts in external tools only after watching the content.
- Engagement segmentation: separates those who watched little from those who watched fully to trigger distinct follow-ups.
- Anonymous audience tracking: allows measuring public video consumption without requiring mandatory login.
Who Is It For?

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the AutomatorWP plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the AutomatorWP plugin before this one.
- Download the file
automatorwp-presto-player.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
automatorwp-presto-player.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the AutomatorWP plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
