Description
The Twitter add-on automatically posts tweets from WordPress, adding to AutomatorWP the action Send a tweet that triggers posts on your X/Twitter account based on events from the site itself. It is suitable for those who use AutomatorWP in marketing, community, or online course flows and want to immediately promote new posts, GamiPress rank achievements, BuddyBoss forum topics, or sales without relying on external scheduling tools.
Main Features
- Action “Send a tweet” (Pro): posts a tweet on the connected X/Twitter account whenever the automation runs, with content defined by the administrator.
- Site-event triggers: launches tweets from new posts, user activity, sales, or course progress, according to the trigger set in AutomatorWP.
- Announcement of new posts: showcases each WordPress article on your timeline, keeping the feed synced with the blog.
- BuddyBoss compatibility: turns new forum topics into tweets for your social audience.
- GamiPress compatibility: congratulates users on X/Twitter when they reach new ranks on the site.
Twitter Benefits
- Automatic promotion: turns site events into social posts without manually copying and pasting content.
- Ongoing presence on the network: maintains account activity on X/Twitter aligned with the publication rhythm and engagement of the site.
- Link between site and social network: connects BuddyBoss and GamiPress communities to your external channel, expanding the reach of every interaction.
- Centralization in AutomatorWP: eliminates third-party scheduling services or integrators, keeping rules and logs in the same panel as other automations.
Who Is It For?
- Content creators and blogs that want to announce new posts on X/Twitter without a manual step.
- BuddyBoss communities and GamiPress sites that wish to publicly celebrate members’ milestones.
- Stores, course platforms, and digital producers who already use AutomatorWP and need to extend their automations to the social layer.
Recommended for WordPress sites with active AutomatorWP automations that wish to incorporate X/Twitter posts as a natural part of their marketing, community, and content flows.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the AutomatorWP plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the AutomatorWP plugin before this one.
- Download the file
automatorwp-twitter.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
automatorwp-twitter.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the AutomatorWP plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
