Description
The User Lists add-on adds a custom user list system to AutomatorWP, allowing you to group site members into named segments that work as triggers and actions within automations. With it, you can trigger workflows when a user joins or leaves a specific list and use actions to add or remove people from these lists as a step in larger AutomatorWP automation flows.
Key Features
- Custom user lists: create as many lists as needed to segment site members by interest, behavior, or your own criteria.
- List-based triggers: trigger automations when a user is added to or removed from a specific list.
- Management actions: add or remove users from lists as a step in any AutomatorWP recipe.
- Centralized admin management: view, edit, and organize lists and their members directly in the WordPress dashboard.
- Compatibility with the AutomatorWP ecosystem: combine this feature with other add-ons to build conditional flows involving multiple plugins and services.
User Lists Benefits
- Dynamic segmentation: group users according to their interactions on the site without relying on custom fields or manual taxonomies.
- Reusable logic: treat a list as a single reference across multiple automations instead of repeating conditions in each recipe.
- More granular workflows: use lists as an intermediate filter to grant access, send communications, or award rewards only to those who fit the profile.
- Scalable organization: keep your user base structured as the site grows, with groups that evolve alongside automations.
Who Is It For?
- Administrators of membership sites, communities, and course platforms that need to segment users by level, cohort, or status.
- Agencies and developers who build complex automated flows in AutomatorWP for end clients.
- E-commerce managers and portal administrators who want to classify customers into groups to apply differentiated business rules.
Recommended for those who already use AutomatorWP and are looking for a reusable user-segmentation model across recipes, keeping automation logic organized and easy to maintain.
