Description
The WP User Manager addon links the plugin of the same name — a registration, profiles, and user directory system — to AutomatorWP, turning logins, registrations, profile edits, and group joining into triggers for your automations. Every event detected in WP User Manager — including account approval, email verification, photo and cover changes, or acceptance into private groups in the Pro features — triggers rewards, notifications, and actions in other plugins integrated on the platform.
Main Features
- Login and registration triggers: trigger automations when a user logs into the site or registers through a WP User Manager form.
- Profile edit triggers: respond to changes in profile photo, cover image, and user description, with additional Pro versions for photo removal and cover removal.
- Account moderation triggers (Pro): capture approval, rejection, and email verification events to synchronize approval status with other plugins or send automatic alerts.
- Groups and community triggers: detect group joining, group leaving, acceptance into private groups, and rejection from private groups (the last three at the Pro level), fitting automations into community flows.
- Actions on groups: add the user to a WP User Manager group within any automation and, at the Pro level, remove them from groups when a condition is met.
WP User Manager Benefits
- Automated onboarding: deliver messages, points, or achievements at the exact moment the visitor registers or confirms their email.
- Measurable profile engagement: reward those who complete avatars, covers, and bios, encouraging richer profiles in the site directory.
- Moderation with fewer clicks: respond to approvals and rejections without opening the dashboard — update lists, trigger emails, and mark status in other systems in the same step.
- Connected community: use group joining and leaving as a bridge for integrations with membership, gamification, email marketing, and CRMs already supported by AutomatorWP.
Who Is It For?
- Community sites, member directories, and membership portals built on the WP User Manager plugin.
- Teams applying points, badges, or levels based on user actions and wanting to trigger those rewards automatically.
- Administrators needing to orchestrate approval flows, email verification, and notifications without custom development.
Designed for projects that centralize registration and profiles in WP User Manager and want to turn every user interaction into an automated sequence within AutomatorWP.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the AutomatorWP plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the AutomatorWP plugin before this one.
- Download the file
automatorwp-wp-user-manager.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
automatorwp-wp-user-manager.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the AutomatorWP plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
