Description
The Zoom addon connects your Zoom account to AutomatorWP, automatically registering participants in meetings and webinars when an action triggers within the site, as well as capturing events from the videoconferencing platform as automation triggers. With it, flows like enrolling an LMS student in a webinar after purchasing a course or awarding a badge when the user enters a room become configurable without code.
Main Features
- Videoconferencing platform triggers: triggers automations in AutomatorWP when events happen on your Zoom account, such as joining a meeting or registering for a webinar.
- Automatic registration actions: adds the WordPress user as a participant in a meeting or webinar upon completing the configured step in the automation.
- Connection via official API: authenticates the site on the Zoom account to synchronize meeting and participant data in real time.
- Compatibility with the AutomatorWP ecosystem: combines triggers and actions with LMS, e-commerce, forms, and gamification automations supported by the base plugin.
- Configuration in the visual editor: builds flows through AutomatorWP fields, choosing account, event type, and parameters without needing to edit code.
Zoom Benefits
- Automatic enrollment of students and clients: eliminates manual work registering each participant in a meeting or webinar.
- Engagement measured by attendance: uses room entry as a condition to award points, badges, achievements, or unlock content.
- Integration between site and videoconferencing: keeps WordPress and the Zoom account synchronized without relying on spreadsheets or duplicate registrations.
- Standardized flows for online classes and events: reuses AutomatorWP automations to scale trainings, courses, and recurring meetings.
