Description
The Yearly View add-on adds to EventON an annual calendar layout that displays the twelve months side by side on a single screen, visually marking each day that contains events saved in the core plugin. Ideal for sites with recurring schedules, such as conferences, schools, and cultural centers, the add-on removes the need for visitors to move month by month to see the full year’s agenda.
Key Features
- 12-month layout on the same screen
Renders an annual grid with January through December stacked in adjustable columns. - Dedicated shortcode for insertion
Lets you publish the annual view on any WordPress page or post. - Day markers with events
Highlights each date that’s occupied with a clickable indicator that takes you to the event details. - Navigation between years
Includes controls to switch between the previous and next year without reloading the page. - Compatibility with EventON filters
Respects the categories, types, and display parameters configured in the core plugin.
Yearly View Benefits
- Full agenda overview
Allows visitors to see how events are distributed throughout the entire year in just a few seconds. - Long-term planning
Makes it easier to anticipate dates for anyone who needs to arrange travel, registrations, or reservations months in advance. - Fewer clicks to discover events
Reduces friction from EventON’s traditional navigation, which often requires monthly navigation. - Stronger visual emphasis for seasonal events
Highlights concentrations of events during certain times, useful for seasons, festivals, and academic calendars.
Who Is It For?
- Organizers of conferences, festivals, and congresses with schedules spread across the year.
- Schools, universities, and cultural centers that maintain an academic calendar or annual programming schedule.
- Event venues, churches, clubs, and associations that publish a fixed agenda of recurring activities.
For anyone already using EventON as an events management base, this extension expands the range of calendar display options by introducing a panoramic view that none of the standard modes provide. The result is a more navigable events site for audiences who need to check distant dates, without losing integration with the categories, filters, and visual adjustments already configured in the main plugin.
