Description

The AI add-on connects Formidable Forms to the ChatGPT API, transforming form responses into dynamic prompts that return OpenAI-generated text directly within the submission flow. Marketing, customer service, and lead-generation teams use the feature to produce summaries, recommendations, and personalized emails from the data the user has just entered, without leaving the WordPress dashboard.

Main Features

  • Direct connection to OpenAI
Authenticates through an API key and sends requests to ChatGPT from the form.
  • Dynamic prompts with form fields
Inserts field values into the prompt using the same Formidable smart tags.
  • Response saved in the entry
Saves the text returned by the model in a submission field for later use.
  • Conditional display of the result
Shows the generated response on the confirmation page or in custom views.
  • Compatibility with Formidable actions
Chains with email sending, post creation, and native integrations from the base plugin.

AI Benefits

  • Automated customer service in forms
Answers questions and generates personalized guidance without immediate human intervention.
  • On-demand content
Creates texts, summaries, and descriptions from the information submitted by the visitor.
  • Smart lead qualification
Evaluates responses and returns useful assessments or recommendations for the sales team.
  • Productivity in the editor

Who Is It For?

  • Marketing teams that capture leads and want to deliver personalized responses at scale.
  • Agencies and consultancies that offer assessments, automated quotes, or content generated from briefs.
  • Service, e-learning, and support sites that need to combine smart forms with AI-powered text automation.

The integration between Formidable Forms and ChatGPT makes it possible to build virtual assistants, calculators with textual explanations, email generators, and qualification flows that converse with users in natural language. All configuration takes place within the form itself, taking advantage of the actions and fields already familiar to WordPress administrators.
