Description
Rest API is an addon that adds REST endpoints to myCred for checking balances, recording point transactions, and connecting external applications to the WordPress rewards system. With this additional module, developers and administrators can treat points as API-accessible data, creating integrations with apps, dashboards, automations, and custom flows without relying solely on the base plugin’s internal screens.

Reduces manual tasks in point-based flows. - Operational scalability
Makes projects that treat points as integrable data easier.
Who Is It For?
- Developers needing to integrate myCred with external systems.
- Community, membership, or point-based gamification sites.
- Administrators who want to automate point queries and records.
As an additional component, Rest API is recommended for projects already using myCred as a scoring base and needing to extend this control beyond the WordPress panel. The extension organizes communication with point data via API, making creation of integrations, automations, and connected experiences with the rewards system more predictable.
