Description
The Update Manager addon connects updates for the core, included themes, and the rest of the ecosystem’s addons exclusively to the official Paid Memberships Pro license server, replacing any alternative download source. With no settings screens to configure, it starts working automatically right after activation, ideal for anyone managing the PMPro ecosystem who wants to eliminate the risk of installing updates from untrusted sources.

Who Is Update Manager For?

How to Download Update Manager
The Update Manager is available for download here on Ultrapack. The step-by-step for installing this file is on the How to install tab, next to the description. Once activated alongside Paid Memberships Pro, it doesn’t add any screens of its own to the dashboard.
On sites that accumulate several Paid Memberships Pro addons and themes, manually tracking the source of each update leaves room for error. Update Manager closes that gap by centralizing everything into a single verified source, which reduces the risk surface without requiring any extra maintenance routine.

How to install
Updates: manual. When a new version comes out, download it on this same page and upload it over the old one; WordPress asks whether you want to replace the current version.
This item is an add-on for the Paid Memberships Pro plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the Paid Memberships Pro plugin before this one.
- Download the file
pmpro-update-manager.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
pmpro-update-manager.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the Paid Memberships Pro plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
