Description
The WPForms addon connects WPForms to AutomatorWP, capturing form submissions as an automation trigger and firing actions configured in the visual builder using submitted data. You use the information entered in any form field as dynamic tags to send emails, award achievements, create users, or log points, turning each submission into an automated routine within WordPress.
Key Features
- Form submission trigger: fires automations whenever a visitor submits a specific WPForms form.
- Dynamic field tags: uses the content of each submitted field as a reusable variable in the recipe’s subsequent actions.
- Form filter: lets you select which form triggers the automation or apply the rule to any form on the site.
- Action chaining: connects form submission to any action available in AutomatorWP, such as sending emails, creating users, or awarding prizes.
- Visual editor setup: integrates with AutomatorWP’s recipe interface without requiring code or custom hooks.
WPForms Benefits
- Lead automation: turns each form submission into an automatic qualification or nurturing workflow.
- Reuse of submitted data: reuses names, emails, and responses in subsequent actions without manual typing.
- Reduction of repetitive tasks: eliminates the work of copying form data into other site tools.
- Connection with the AutomatorWP ecosystem: links WPForms to dozens of other plugins supported by AutomatorWP in a single recipe.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the AutomatorWP plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the AutomatorWP plugin before this one.
- Download the file
automatorwp-wpforms.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
automatorwp-wpforms.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the AutomatorWP plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
