Description
Cart Based Shipping – WooCommerce calculates WooCommerce shipping based on the cart subtotal, number of items, or total cart weight, allowing a fixed or percentage charge and setting minimum and maximum caps. Compatible with delivery zones, free shipping classes, and country segmentation, it meets the needs of sellers of a wide range of physical products who require flexible shipping rules tailored to the purchasing context.
Key Features of Cart Based Shipping – WooCommerce
- Three calculation methods
Sets shipping based on the cart subtotal, the number of items, or the total weight. - Fixed or percentage charge
Applies a fixed amount or a percentage of the subtotal for each configured tier. - Minimum and maximum limits
Locks a floor and a ceiling on charges to prevent values outside the expected range. - Free shipping classes
Designates specific product classes that are exempt from shipping calculations. - Rules by zone and country
Creates multiple instances within WooCommerce zones and restricts delivery to selected countries.
Benefits of Cart Based Shipping – WooCommerce
- Shipping proportional to order
Charge adjusted to the actual volume, preventing loss on heavy orders and overcharge on light orders. - Margin control in shipping
Minimum and maximum caps protect the operation from charges outside product reality. - Selective free shipping
Combinations by class or subtotal tier enable targeted promotions without affecting the rest of the catalog. - Transferable configuration
Importing and exporting all rules accelerates replication of setup in test environments or other stores.
Who Should Use Cart Based Shipping – WooCommerce?

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
The file on this page is the developer’s full package. Do not upload that file through the dashboard: WordPress answers that the package does not contain a valid plugin. Here the plugin is not zipped, it comes as a folder inside, and that folder is what you zip and upload.
- Download the file
codecanyon-3156515-woocommerce-cart-based-shipping.zipand extract it on your computer. - Look for the plugin folder (in this item, the folder
codecanyon-3156515-woocommerce-cart-based-shipping/woocommerce-cart-based-shipping). - Zip that folder only. Do not use RAR.
- In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file you just created.
- Click Install Now and then Activate.
- The right folder is the one with the
.phpfiles loose inside it. The rest of the package belongs to the author: documentation, license and sample files. - Zip the FOLDER, not what is inside it. If the ZIP opens straight into the
.phpfiles, with no folder, WordPress rejects it.
