Description
The Subscriber addon adds to EventON an event-by-event registration system, creating a subscription button on the event page that captures the visitor’s email and links it to the specific event for automatic notification delivery. It works as a direct engagement module, allowing organizers to build segmented lists of interested parties by event without relying on external email marketing tools.
Key Features
- Event-specific subscription button
Adds an email capture field directly to the card and the individual event page. - Event-based segmented lists
Each event keeps its own list of subscribers, accessible in the EventON admin panel. - Automatic notifications
Sends scheduled emails to subscribers before the event starts or when dates are changed. - Subscriber management panel
Shows total count, exports the subscriber list, and lets you manage registrations by event. - Message personalization
Allows editing the email content sent to subscribers with templates configured by the administrator.
Subscriber Benefits
- Direct engagement with interested people
Keeps in touch with people who showed specific interest in each event on the schedule. - Increased attendance
Automatic reminders reduce the no-show rate for events that were previously registered. - Reusable lists
The contacts collected can be used to promote future similar events or related communications. - Independence from external tools
Centralizes capture and notification sending within WordPress itself, with no additional mandatory integrations.
Who Is It For?
- Event organizers who need to maintain direct contact with interested people before each date.
- Cultural producers, schools, and training centers that promote recurring workshops, talks, and courses.
- Institutional and community websites that use EventON as their official schedule and want to notify subscribers.
By concentrating registration and communication within EventON itself, the Subscriber add-on removes the friction of exporting contacts to external services just to send reminders. It’s the recommended component for anyone working with an active events schedule and looking to keep the audience engaged between one date and the next—ensuring attendance and building a qualified base of interested people over time.
