Description
The WooCommerce add-on connects Modern Events Calendar bookings to the WooCommerce purchase flow, sending event registrations to the store’s cart, checkout, and order records. This integration helps event organizers, producers, and site administrators centralize payments, sales management, and purchase tracking without separating ticket sales from the rest of the WooCommerce operation.
Main Features
- WooCommerce Checkout
Forwards event bookings to the store’s purchase process. - Centralized Orders
Records event-related purchases within WooCommerce orders. - Cart Flow
Allows event registrations to be treated as purchasable items at checkout. - MEC Integration
Adds a sales layer to the calendar’s booking system. - WordPress Management
Keeps events, bookings, and purchases inside the admin dashboard.
Benefits of WooCommerce Integration
- More Organized Sales
Centralizes event payments in the same store flow. - Less Manual Work
Reduces separate cross-checks between bookings, cart, and orders. - Clear Sales Control
Makes it easier to track paid registrations alongside WooCommerce orders. - Familiar Experience
Uses the checkout already known by customers and administrators.
Who Is It For?
- Websites that sell tickets, registrations, or event bookings with Modern Events Calendar.
- Organizers who already use WooCommerce for payments and order management.
- Agencies that create commercial calendars for events, courses, workshops, and in-person or online meetings.
WooCommerce Integration is recommended for projects that need to combine an event calendar and sales operations in a more cohesive flow. Instead of keeping booking isolated from e-commerce, the component leverages WooCommerce’s structure for cart, checkout, and orders, making administration more predictable for teams that already work with WordPress stores.

How to install
Automatic updates: this item is updated by the Ultrapack Auto Updater. With it installed, the new version shows up in your dashboard like any other WordPress update (how to set it up).
This item is an add-on for the Modern Events Calendar plugin. Installed on its own it throws no error, but it does not work either.
- Install and activate the Modern Events Calendar plugin before this one.
- Download the file
mec-woocommerce.zip. - In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Select the file
mec-woocommerce.zip, click Install Now and then Activate.
- Both stay active at the same time. Deactivating the Modern Events Calendar plugin turns this add-on off with it.
- An add-on settings usually show up inside the main plugin screens, not in a menu of their own. If you find nothing new in the dashboard after activating, look there before opening a ticket.
