Description
The Bookings add-on adds a complete booking and registration system to EventON events, including a customizable booking form, capacity control per event, and status management for each booking (pending, confirmed, canceled) directly in the admin panel. Ideal for organizers who need to capture participant data, limit the number of registrants, and track the booking list without relying on external form plugins.
Key Features
- Customizable booking form
Allows you to define your own fields (name, email, phone, notes) to collect participant data during registration. - Capacity control per event
Sets the maximum number of registrants and blocks new bookings when the limit is reached. - Bookings management panel
Lists all bookings in the admin area, with filters by event, status, and creation date. - Manual or automatic confirmation status
Lets you approve, reject, or cancel each booking individually, keeping a history in the calendar. - Email notifications
Sends emails to the organizer and to the participant for every new booking or status change.
Benefits of Bookings
- Centralized registration management
Brings all bookings together within EventON itself, without needing a spreadsheet or a separate form plugin. - Real capacity control
Prevents overbooking by locking registrations as soon as the capacity limit is reached. - Automatic communication with the public
Keeps the participant informed about the booking status without manual intervention from the organizer. - Structured participant data
Centralizes contact information and customized responses for later use in logistics and marketing.
Who Is It For?
- Organizers of workshops, courses, and training sessions that need to control the number of participants.
- Promoters of in-person or online events that require free or paid pre-registration.
- Clubs, associations, and groups that manage recurring meetups with an attendance list.
- Institutional websites that already use EventON and need to add an RSVP flow to events.
For sites that already run their schedule in EventON, the Bookings add-on closes the gap between promotion and capturing registrants, turning the calendar into an active booking channel. The combination of a customizable form, capacity limit, and approval flow supports everything from free events to waitlist experiences, keeping the entire participant journey within the same panel.
